Anglican Bishop To Ban Church Members Without Voters Card From Receiving Holy Communion

The Anglican Bishop of Asaba Diocese, Rt. Rev. Justus Mogekwe has indicated PVCs will now become a requirement for members of his church before they can receive Holy Communion.

He made this known in a sermon on Sunday during the occasion of the Christian Community Platform prayer conference at Great Anointing Favour Bible Church International, Effurun.

He appealed to the people of Delta State to make sure they register for their PVCs to vote at an election to get good governance.

Mogekwe however urged other clergymen in Delta State to henceforth make it mandatory for their members to have PVC before they could participate in Holy Communion.

He emphasized that Christians must actively get involved in politics to enthrone good governance.

He added, “if men who are righteous and fear God are in power, the people rejoice”
