The Ministry of information, in solidarity with NCA, GJA, GIJ, IPR, PRIMPG, GIBA and other Media stakeholders have launched media capacity enhancement programme today at MOI premises today, 14 November 2021.

Delivering keynote address during the launching, Mamoley Andrews, chief director for ministry of information saids the Programe is aim at assisting the industry to continuesly enhance the capacity of practicing journalism within the media landscape and has design to bring acadamia, civil society in the media as well as practicing journalist to develop curriculum that can help journalist to carry on their duties.




She added that the role of the ministry is to raise funds for the implementation of the programe, providing technical support and cordinating the activities of the working committee.



Moreover, Rector of GIJ, Professor Kwansa Aidoo emphasize that, the objectives of this programe is to improve the quality of reportage, increase professionalism in the conduct of both media personnel and media houses, skills to hold duty bearers accountable, specialisation in areas such as education, sports, health etc for deeper understanding and effectiveness which will benefit editors, reporters, anchors, producers, directors, owner of media houses and civil society organizations.
