The Municipal Chief Executive of Suame,Dr.John Osei Bobie by the powers given from above to reduce the spread of Covid-19 at the market has this morning ordered for the closure of Suame market as part of measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus in the municipal.
According to the MCE,Dr.John Osei Bobie,they have met the traders on uncountable occasions at the market as to how to practice social distancing but the traders have refused.
That has called on the assembly close the down the market on oder to reduce the spread of COVID-19 at the municipal.
Speaking with Agyenkwa fn reporter Obofo Micheal,Dr.John Osei Bobie explained that the municipal issued a ticket the traders on how to trade on daily basis but they remain adamant on that plea which has called for the closure of the market.
The Caretaker of Suame Market,Nana Kuffour on her part added that the traders have been difficult on social distancing and that has resulted to that.
Some trader’s expressed their worry on closure of the market by the MCE.
