“Infact the hustle and struggle I see people go through in this needless Voters’ Registration is something that is disheartening. EC promised Ghanaians of a smooth and transparent registration process but what I am seeing in most Centres are the unexpected. The registration machines at most Centres are not functioning and are completely down thereby leaving electorates stranded under the canopy of scotching sun.” The MP said.

Alhaji Suhuyini added that, there are no PPES provided at various centres to aid people to protect themselves from the Corona Virus.

Hon Suhuyini observed that, at most of the centres he has visited, the observance of social distancing was thrown to the dogs simply because of the ill preparedness of the EC. He also urged EC to provide strong registration machines for all registration centres especially in his constituency.

Alhaji Suhuyini in his submission issued out a word of caution to EC to live up to expectation if they want a successful election 2020.
