The Municipal Chief Executive for Atwima Nwabiagya South, Hon Amoah Awuku Michael and his member of Parliament, Hon Emmanuel Agyei Anhwere on 1st July 2020 cut sod to commence three(3) developmental projects at some communities in the Municipal.

Below are  the projects, it’s location and contractors.

1. Construction of Police station with ancillary facilities at Sepaase. This contract has been awarded to K.Zorro Company Ltd.

 2.Construction of Ambulance Bay with ancillary facilities at the Municipal capital – Nkawie and the contract was also awarded to Ernogyan Company Ltd.

3. Construction of Lorry Park with ancillary facilities at Municipal Capital – Nkawie and this contract has been awarded to Kak.Peb Company Ltd.

Addressing the press, the MCE said that, he and the MP are very excited to have these projects in the Municipal.

According to Hon Amoah Awuku, the construction of Sepaase Police station will help to reduce crime rate in the area.

He said, the Chief and his elders made an appeal to the Municipal Assembly and with the support of the Government  (Common Fund) and the MP, these projects will be completed in no time.

Speaking on the other two (2) projects which will be held at the Municipal Capital -Nkawie, he assured the Chief and his elders that, together with his MP, they  will make sure Nkawie is well developed into a befitting Capital town.

Moreover, we have given the contractors the green light to start all the projects and  we are expecting them to make all the (3) three project available for use in month’s time.

In addition, the Member of Parliament also urged the rest of the communities that have not get their “share of the cake” to expect theirs soon.

“We will not abandon any community within the Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipality, he concluded.
