We hope that with this small contribution, our health personnel will be able to better fight the pandemic in our communities in Nanung.
As president of NAYA, I am deeply humbled and feel gratified that Nanumbas in the diaspora, home and other parts of the country, overwhelmingly responded to our passionate calls of extending their contributions to procure this significant number of Personal Protective Equipment for the Bimbilla hospital as referral center for all chips compounds and health facilities around.
These magnificent gesture hopefully will go a long way to add up to the fight the government of the Republic is making to combat the spread of the virus in our country. a We solemnly share in the belive that this will go a long way to safeguarding our Frontline health workers in Bimbilla and the general well being of our health facilities in this period of the global health crisis.
My brothers and sisters, let me take this opportunity to remind us all to continue to adhere to the preventive ethiquet outlined by the MOH/GHS, including individual hygiene practices at home and at our worship places that, the only way we can collectively and effectively combat not just covid-19 but also many prevalent diseases we have been battling with as a People, talk of Malaria, Hepatitis, Meningitis, etc. We therefore need to be each other’s keeper and supporter to promote peaceful reconciliations amongst ourselves to defeat our common enemy in health, poverty, education and unemployment. I urge us all to continue to work hard in unity and togetherness towards achieving the greatest successes for our generation and generation yet to be born.
This donation must serve as an example to the many corporate institutions within our corridors and beyond to come to the aid of the Bimbilla hospital and all other important health facilities in Nanung to combat the many health needs of our people.
