Dr. Jebir Kebir Moussa, a farmer and a Philanthropist has urged cocoa farmers in the country to vote massively for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Condidates to continue with it’s agricultural policies aimed at improving the living standards of farmers.
Dr. Moussa a renowned farmer with farms at Kasapin, Onyinanufu etc speaking to some farmers in the Ahafo, Ahafo Ano and Asutifi South Constituencies reminded cocoa farmers to appreciate the Akufo Addo led administration for the special interventions in the cocoa sector.
He said cocoa farming Enhancement Programmes such as mass spraying, mass pruning, rehabilitation of Cocoa farms, pollination, supply of free cocoa seedlings, free motorised slashers, free chemicals and fertilizers and the formation of Cooperatives has given the coacoa sector a major boost since 2017.
He noted that the Government has also increased the producer price of the commodity making cocoa farming a lucrative business and more attractive thereby improving the livelihoods of Cocoa farmers in the country.
Dr. Moussa emphasised that it will be prudent for cocoa farmers to vote massively for President Akufo Addo and all NPP Parliamentary Condidates to continue implementing policies to the benefit of cocoa farmers and the general public.
In another development, Dr. Moussa and his team who are currently bivouac in Asutifi South Constituency till tuesday, in a strong language appeal to electorates, particularly beneficiaries of the Free Senior High School to vote for the NPP to sustain the policy. He said the youth must take the plea of the President and continue the house to house conversation with the people to safeguard their future.
The Founder Member also appealed to the youth in the Asutifi South Constituency to report any form of intimidation to the police if possible take pictures as evidence.
Dr. Moussa who referred to President Nana Akufo Addo as ” Winston Churchill” of Ghana for numerous measure put in place in defeat of Covid-19 War with Dr. Mahamudu Bawumi and the Finance Minister, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta will ensure socio-economic development in the country effective January 2021.
Dr. Moussa Jebir Kebir Moussa as part of his philanthropic work has donated motorcycles, tricycles, trophies, campaign gears, exercise books and undisclosed amount of money to the ,Sampa, Drobonso, Ahafo Ano South West , Yiom etc chapter’s of the NPP.
