Controversial Ghanaian media personality Afia Schwarzenegger has mocked GHOne TV and their presenter Nana Aba Anamoah for broadcasting p0rnography while the President was briefing Ghanaians on the update of Coronavirus.
Last night on the x-rated GhOne TV show Duvet, pornography was aired as part of the content of the show.
Some social media users who were watching the show at the moment took to Twitter to condemn the television station for airing such explicit content.
However, the acting General Manager of GhOne TV, Nana Aba Anamoah has released a statement apologizing for the type of content that was aired on last night episode of the show.
“GHOne TV wishes to sincerely apologise to its cherished viewers on the unfortunate turn of events regarding your favourite late-night programme, DUVET, a few hours ago,” the statement signed by Nana Aba Anamoah read.
“Even though the show is X-rated, we concede that the nature of the content tonight was inappropriate,” it said.
“Whilst we promise that this incident will not repeat itself, we will also ensure that the officers responsible for the mishap are sanctioned,” the statement continued.
In a video she posted on her Instagram platform, Afia Schwarzenegger who is known to be the ‘goddess of beef’ questioned the actions of the station by asking if the workers hated the President since they decided to air pornography at the same time the President was updating the nation on Coronavirus.
Afia, therefore, recommended GHOne TV as the official p0rn station for the lockdown.
