Euro 2020 has been postponed to next year due to the outbreak of COVID-19 the world over.
The announcement was made by the Norwegian Football Association today, March 17 on Uefa’s official Twitter handle.
The tournament which was due to be held from June 12 to July 12 across 12 countries in Europe has been called off for a year.
“Uefa has decided that the Euros should be postponed until 2021. It will be played from 11 June to 11 July next year,” the tweet read
