“Ewes are Ghanaians too!!”-Netizens react after Caleb Kudah denied his tribe just to avoid more beatings

 

 

 

Citi FM/Citi TV’s journalist, Caleb Kudah has become the talk of Ghana after he was arrested for filming some abandoned cars at the Ministry of National Security.

 

After he was sent to the National Security office herein Accra together with his colleague Zoe Abu-Baidoo, Caleb Kudah said he was subjected to some beatings by one of the men.

Caleb Kudah, who appeared on Citi TV’s The Point of View, narrated how he had to deny that he is an Ewe in order to escape further beatings.

He said;

 

“I had to mention that I come from Cape Coast in order to escape from further beatings. If I had confirmed that I am an Ewe, I would have received further beatings.”

Following Caleb’s revelation, many people, especially the Ewe, have taken to social media to voice their displeasure with how people treat them.
