Hearts of Oak Managing Director Fredrick Moore has revealed the benefits his outfit will gain from their partnership deal with GTV Sports Plus.
The Phobians officially penned a deal with the county’s biggest broadcasting company for the club’s TV show last week.
The partnership will see Hearts of Oak’s content shown on the channel to viewers across the continent with player interviews, lifestyle features forming part of its content.
This forms part of the club’s rebranding efforts to strategically climb up the relevance ladder as regards football brands in Africa.
“I know that in the last week, there was a lot of debate about whether there was any money involved in the GTV deal,” Moore said in an interview with Oyerepa FM.
“If we had done it on our own without GTV Sports as partners, it would have cost us a lot of money so we are saving a huge amount of resources so we can concentrate the resources in other areas.
“It involves a revenue share of all the sponsors and marketing on the program, so it’s not totally without money and it’s not a sponsorship but partnership with good share of the money.”
Hearts will launch their TV Channel on GTV Sports Plus dubbed Hearts TV this month.
