More military personnel have been deployed to the Yagaba-Kubori Constituency as tension heightens in the area ahead of the December 7 general elections.
According to reports, the was a squabble between the supporters of the New Patriotic Party and their main opposition party, the National Democratic Congress. These actions led to the attack on the NPP Parliamnetray Candidates residence. Some cars were set ablaze.
The military was sent over to keep calm but news reaching MynewsGhana.net indicates that tensions have heightened as some youth accuse the military of an act of select arrest.
It was announced earlier that, four persons who were said to be connected with the vandalism were arrested. This action, according to some youth, is rather unfortunate since they feel that there has been some favoritism with regards to the arrest.
