The Electoral Commission of Ghana(EC) has extended the time of declaration for presidential results.
In a press release by the EC, its decision to extend the time is to ensure the collation of results at the constituency and regional collation Centres across the country is accurate.
The EC revealed that the new timeline will be communicated to the public shortly.
“The Electoral Commission informs the General Public that to ensure the collation of results at the Constituency and Regional Collation Centres across the country is accurate, the EC will extend its intended timeline for declaring the 2020 Presidential election results. The new timeline will be communicated shortly.” Part of the press release reads.
