National Democratic Congress (NDC) former flagbearer aspirant and former Minister for Trade and Industry Ekwow Spio Garbrah yesterday with President Akufo-Addo.
The President was the Special Guest who delivered an address at the Ghana Investment Promotion Center’s Annual Investment Summit, dubbed Spark-Up 2021, at Kempinski Hotel, Accra, in which Dr. Spio Garbrah was in attendance as a former Minister.
According to Akufo-Addo, the Spark-Up 2021 program is aimed at “stimulating one of the most important conversations we should be having in this country, that is making registered investments real on the ground in Ghana”.
Akufo-Addo GIPC to use the Summit as a platform for “open, frank and solution-oriented engagements between investors, regulators and investment facilitators.”
Others in attendance include Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Minister of State Charles Adu-Boahen, Deputy Minister of Trade Herbert Krapa, FreeZones CEO Mike Ocquaye Jnr, GIPC boss Yoofi Grant among others.
Mr. Spio Garbrah was in attendance as a former Minister of the sector.
