Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, has warned to personally deal with some military personnel if political power rolled back to his opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in future
The NDC MP issued the threat when a confusion broke over the weekend at one of the registration centers in his constituency where he had been monitoring the ongoing voter registration exercise by the electoral commission.
In a video footage captured and shared on social media sighted by MyNewsGh.com, the MP was seen furiously confronting a number of armed soldiers while issuing the threats.
In the footage, Mr. George appeared to have been suggesting some of the military deployed at the center were intimidating his party supporters from taking part in the exercise.
“How dare you, the person who is doing the right thing and said why should he has stopped the girl?” the controversial Ningo Prampram MP charged at the soldiers.
“You are a security man and you are doing this? Power will shift, power will shift; I keep sending that warning.
“At that time, you people would say Sam George is a bad person, when I start dealing with everybody one by one, you should remember the thing you are doing to me”.
